Try This at Home

Dance word of the week:  "Tendu" (ton-doo) meaning "stretched"

What dance technique it's used in:  Ballet

How to do it:  Have your little dancer point their toe starting with the heel melting through the ball of their foot extending through the toes. Now try it standing up foot on the floor with a straight knee. Very good!

For the Boys

Boys love to dance, and why shouldn't they? Dance With Me is committed to breaking down the barriers and erasing the stigma between boys and dancing.

Dancing requires athleticism, agility, focus, dedication, desire, flexibility, strength, balance, hand eye coordination, fine and gross motor ability. Many of which are the same tools of football or any other sport. In fact, many football players are encouraged to take ballet to help them become lighter on their feet and learn the other great benefits that could better their game.

Dance is a great form of exercise and also introduces the young child to music and beginner gymnastics. What are you waiting for? Register your son today!

"Thanks for all that you do. Jaelyn really loves to dance and she loves you!"
